Privacy notice
How we use your information
Last updated: 5 November 2026
Who we are
L4z Clinical Training & Services is run by Dr Lazaro Perez Rodriguez in Cambridge, UK. We are the controller of the personal information described here. Contact us about privacy at info@l4zclinical.co.uk.
What we collect
- Enquiries. When you press "Send enquiry", we receive your name, email address, organisation, postcode, preferred dates, your message and the estimate you built.
- Course records. If we train you or your staff, we keep each learner's name, course, course date and certificate expiry date, and the compliance contact's details.
- Website use. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.
Please don't send medical or test details through this website.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange training or a phlebotomy visit (steps before entering into a contract with you).
- To send renewal reminders before training expires, where the organisation or learner has agreed (consent or legitimate interests, as agreed with your organisation).
- To keep records we are required to keep, such as invoices (legal obligation).
We don't sell your information or use it for marketing without your permission.
Who helps us
- Cloudflare hosts this website, delivers the enquiry emails and protects the form from spam (Turnstile).
- Google provides our email inbox and the fonts used on this website.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the UK's data adequacy arrangements or approved contract terms.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to a booking: up to 12 months.
- Course records: until two years after the certificate expires.
- Invoices and accounting records: six years, as required by HMRC.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it. Email info@l4zclinical.co.uk and we will reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
